iButterfly at SM

I'm going to this event tomorrow at SM Megamall. If you have nothing much to do on a Friday afternoon, swing by at around 3 PM for the iButterfly event!

PROMO MECHANICS

1. iButterfly Asia – Philippines App is free to download and is available on Apple App Store and Google Market Play.
2. Promo period is May 5, 2012 – June 30, 2012 from 10:00am to 9:00pm.
3. How to play:
   1. Each participant must have the iButterfly Asia - Philippines application in his gadget (Smartphones such as but not limited to iPhones, iPads, iTouch and Andriod phones and tablets that are supported by iOS and Android OS (Froyo or higher version/s). The application must be downloaded in the Philippines using internet connection or via WiFi from iTunes App Store and Google Play (Google Market). The iButterflyAsia - Philippines application is already available for download.
   2. Each participant must launch the iButterflyAsia - Philippines in his gadget. Internet data connection is needed while using the application. (3G or WiFi, Free WiFi available in Cyberzone and SM Mall common area) SM Supermalls will activate the SSID: SM_iButterfly, exclusive to the iButterfly App, where people can use the internet there for the App’s functionalities.
   3. Participants can only access and see virtual butterflies if they are within the participating SM Supermalls. Virtual butterflies will be deployed at least within a kilometer radius of the participating SM Supermalls. Participants can only redeem in the participating SM Supermalls with the partners as tenants of the said malls.
   4. Participants simply have to catch the virtual butterflies using their iOS or Android gadget as their “butterfly net”. Participants can catch as many virtual butterflies as they can.
4.  Each virtual butterfly caught has a corresponding message. Do exactly what the message states. Please
   see sample messages below:
   
   
   • For a minimum P1,000 single-receipt purchase, you can use the SM Department Store i-Butterfly Discount Coupon on regular-priced items at any participating SM Department Store.
   • Free Upgrade to MEDIUM Fries for a Purchase of a Burger Value Meal* Coupon is valid for 24 hours from time of capture.
     Redeem your coupon in any of the participating McDonald's stores in the following SM Malls: SM North EDSA, SM Megamall, SM Cebu, SM Fairview, SM South Mall, SM Davao, Valid for Dine-In and Take-Out only. Not valid with other promos: P50 McSaver Meals, Happy Meal, P75 Cheeseburger Value Meal.
   f. Upon reading the message, participants have the option to “save” or “cancel” the message. If saved, participants will be directed to a microsite www.smibutterfly.com where a unique code will be generated   followed by instructions on how to redeem the prize.
   
   
   g. If the participant wants to claim his prizes, he must proceed to the specific store or booth mentioned in the

   message. Winning participant must present the virtual butterfly with the unique coupon/message (on screen) to the Assigned Personnel of the participating store or booth to verify claim of prize/item.

   
   
   h. Participants will only have to show the promo or the unique code generated to the store manager. SM

   Supermalls and its partners will not be held liable for any promo not being able to be redeemed because of internet connection.

   
   
   i. Participants can win multiple items but only one for each kind.
