Alabang Afternoon

Today, we visited my mom's aunt, Lola Mimi in her house in Alabang. It's where my mom spent most of her college life in, and where she worked as a household help so she can put herself through college. I'm so proud of my mom for all the things she's been through in life, she remains to be the rock of all her siblings. I feel sad that we have to part soon because of my job in Myanmar, but at the same time, I have always wanted to have them retire early and spend their time travelling and just taking it easy (with my dad). It's difficult but necessary. It's not exactly easy when your unica hija goes to another country to work.

While I'm here in the country, I'm trying to make the most of my remaining days here by visiting family and trying to spend time with friends. Today is one of those days. I'm glad we came by for a visit. I needed a change of scenery. Then again, for the past week or so, I've been up and about. Just yesterday, I was in Ortigas to celebrate Mom's Fab 56th. Anyway, here's an outfit post that's casual enough for an afternoon with loved ones.

Turquoise top, high waisted shorts, mustard belt, cream Crocs, and the eternal bangles, plus a whimsical dream-catcher necklace from my friend Ayeen. :)

Self-timer FTW! BTW, the shots may look a little blurry than usual, that's because I was too lazy to lug around my trusty DSLR so I took my old digicam for a spin. It's an 8.1 megapixel old model but I love it just the same. :)

I love wearing bangles! That red lucky charm was given by my dad. <3
I adore dream-catchers!

Comfort and casual. Just 'cause I'm not always in the mood to be all dolled up.

I wanna thank my mom for taking most of my pictures!

How did you spend your Saturday? :)

Love,
